DiscWhich ISO to play. The Remaster has your handling mods; both use the same recompiled game.
Aspect ratioWidens the game's field of view (no stretching) and the picture. Auto matches your screen.
Internal resolutionHow sharp the 3D is drawn. Higher costs GPU time.
DisplayMeasuring refresh rate…
Glow (bloom)Light glow around bright spots. Off is a little faster.
Camera shakeOff = no bumps, jolts, gear-change or nitrous shake, and no crash shake. Speed and G-force camera lean stay. Restarts the game.
Camera motionLocked takes out ALL camera movement: the sway in corners, the lean and g-force push when you hit the gas or brakes, the wobble at speed, gear-change and nitrous kicks. The camera sits still behind the car. (Original disc only.)
SkyRemastered: smooth HD night skies with orange city glow (no green smog, no banding). Needs HD textures on.
HD texture packDownload the pack, unzip it, then point the game at the folder. Desktop Chrome or Edge.
HD texturesYour PCSX2 upscaled texture pack (PCSX2\textures\SLUS-21449\replacements), matched exactly like PCSX2 does.
Touch controlsThe on-screen pad on phones and tablets. Auto hides it while a controller is connected.
Smooth edgesAntialiasing on the final picture.
Performance statsfps, GPU and audio buffer in the bottom bar.
ResetPut every setting back to default.
Save keyNo key on this browser.
Backups on this PCEvery in-game save and quick save is encrypted with your key and copied to TokyoDriftWeb\saves.
Backup fileAn encrypted .tdsave of the memory card you can keep anywhere. Only your key opens it.
Saves folderPick a folder on your PC (like Tokyo Drift\ISOs\PCSX2 Saves). Every save is copied there as Mcd001.ps2, and the game loads it from there, so clearing browser data can't lose your career.
